8. 于 e-Academic 应用程序中登录您的eLib(电子图书) 帐号

使用Facebook账户


9. 转到My Library


10. 屏幕上将显示正在阅读的书本



1. 点击App Stores图标


2. 查找"e-Academic"字样


3. 点击GET按键，然后再点击绿色按键，并安装应用程序


4. 点击e-Academic图标


5. 于e-Academic应用程序中登录您的eLib(电子图书) 帐号


6. 点击Download图标


7. 等待下载过程完毕


8. 点击Bookshelf图标


9. 点击封面即可阅读


10. 屏幕上将显示正在阅读的书本


11. 向左或向右滑动以翻阅页面


12. 双点击屏幕上方以设定字形、字体大小等设置




13. 点击书本图标即可返回电子书列表



Desktop Apps (Windows*/Mac OS)

*Windows 7 & above

  1. A. Install

    There are few ways to install e-Sentral desktop reader into your laptop

    You may download this below

    1. Windows 32-bit Windows 64-bit Mac OS Linux

    For Windows

    1. 1. Download the application reader in your laptop. Once downloading process complete, click "Install"

    2. 2. A dialog box will appear during the installation process.

    3. 3. Once the desktop reader have been installed into your devices, you may proceed with signing in and read your eBook collection

    For Mac User

    1. 1. After clicking the link and download the desktop reader, double click on the installer icon

    2. 2. Drag the e-Sentral application into your Application folder

    3. 3. Search e-Sentral application via launchpad to launch the desktop reader

    4. 4. You may now log into your desktop reader

    In case of the guide above did not run smoothly, please try the method below

    1. 1. In case after the you have download the installer, you receive this pop out box message as shown below, please proceed to ‘System Preference’

    2. 2. Go to ‘Security & Privacy’ and make sure to choose ‘ Allow apps downloaded from Apps store and identified developers’

    3. 3. Search e-Sentral application via launchpad to launch the desktop reader

    4. 4. You may now log into your desktop reader

    For Linux User

    1. 1. After clicking the link and download the desktop reader, double click on the installer icon

    2. 2. Install the e-Sentral Apps for Linux

    3. 3. Once the desktop reader have been installed into your devices, you may proceed with signing in and read your eBook collection

  2. This desktop apps will be applicable to all Windows & Mac

    B. Register an account

    1. 1. If you have not register an account with us, Click "New User"

    2. 2. Please fill up all the field in the form

    3. 3. Click "Sign Up"

      You should get this pop-out message once your registration is successful.

  3. C. Log In

    1. 1. In the apps, you may sign in using:

      1. 1.1 Your user ID – fill in your username and password. (click sign in)

      2. 1.1.1 Click "Sign In"

      3. 1.2 Via Facebook – A new window leading to Facebook will pop up. Fill in your Facebook details and click "Log in"

    2. 2. After login, you would be greeted by Home tab, which shows your recently downloaded and read eBook.

  4. D. Download

    1. 1. To start downloading your eBook, click on "Library"

    2. 2. There are few collection options to place your downloaded eBook, either in Purchased or Borrow section (Purchased/Borrowed) Collections

      On default, you will start from Purchased collection. If you acquire your eBook by borrowing and not purchasing, then the eBook will be placed under Borrowed.

    3. 3. Find the eBook you want to read by scrolling through the shelf. However, if you have a lot of eBook, these features can help you:

      1. Use to Sort By according to Recent, Title or Author.

      2. Use to search for specific eBook title, author or publisher.

      3. Once you have found the eBook, click on the cover. It will start the downloading process. For example, let`s download Digerati 2.0 (2016)

      4. Once the eBook has been downloaded, a tick in a circle would show next to the title. Now you may start reading.

      5. If you wish to remove a book during downloading process, click again on the book cover or click on to remove the downloaded eBook. Click Remove Download

  5. E. Read

    1. 1. To start reading, click on the book cover of the downloaded eBook

    2. 2. To read your book, you may tap on the arrows to move between the pages

    3. 3. You can hover at the bottom of the page pull up the page navigation tool. Use "Table of Contents" when you are reading books that are very lengthy in pages and/or have numerous chapters.

    4. 4. You may also drag the sliders if you want to skip few pages.

      Tips: Swipe from bottom of the screen if you are using Surface instead of right click.

    5. 5. Double click on the page to get full screen resolution

    6. 6. You may change the background colour by clicking

    7. 7. You may change the text colour by clicking

    8. 8. You may change the text font face by clicking

  6. F. Logout & Deactivate

    1. 1. Tap on the from the left edge of your screen. A dashboard would pop up.

    2. 2. Click logout

  7. G. Deactivate

    1. If you have used up all 5 activations for the same username, click ‘Deactivate’. By clicking deactivate, you will need to redownload the eBook in your account
